What’s on in June

With winter right around the corner enjoy we have curated a mix of festive events, wintery experiences and the usual dose of arts and culture. Many of these events are even free to spectate and have flexible showing times.

The Winter Village

Do you want to build a snowman? Or maybe rent a huge inflatable igloo for a couple hours? Well, the Winter Village has you covered. Debuting in northbridge just in time for winter you can go skiing, play in ‘snow’ and have a meal and drinks in an igloo.


German Film Festival

International film buffs will enjoy saying das war gut after seeing the staggering array of German films on show this month. From the 3rd to the 20th. Cinemas in the city, Leederville and Freo will be showing a mix of new and classic German movies.


Urban Craft Beer Crawls

Discover your favourite new micro-brewery or simply tour the classics on a pub crawl like no other. Neighbourhood Events Co run several beverage and food tours throughout the year and this month the Urban Craft Beer Crawl is the place to be.


Perth Upmarkets 

The Perth upmarket is back this winter. A mixture of upper shelf products and up cycled goods create an eclectic assortment of everything from giftware to food and fashion. In the historic Winthrop Hall at UWA the markets are the perfect place for winter Christmas shopping.


Hatched 2021

PICA presents Hatched! For the entire month of June the works of over 20 graduate artists will adorn the walls of the gallery. Including artist talks and walk throughs, art lovers and newbies alike can find something to love at Hatched 2021. The exhibit will be showing until July 11th.
