By Grace Chow

From her mouth a thousand tiles of scrabble pour
Vowels from geese and ducks and crows
An avalanche of heavy plastic
Rainfall is a curling noise
And as the dust settles
She slowly picks
Each piece up
From piles
With stiff
Tongue
To put
Them
Back
In.
