Holly Ferguson

Holly Ferguson is the founder and Editor-in-Chief of Magazine 6000. Holly currently works full time as a Content Developer, creating a range of media assets from podcasts to videos. She started her journalism career as a contributor to her university's student magazine Dircksey, before becoming Editor-in-Chief of Dircksey for two years (2017-2018). In 2019 Holly completed a Postgraduate Advanced Diploma of Broadcasting, at Edith Cowan University. During this time she worked as a freelance researcher and as a casual journalist for the ABC, she continued working for the ABC in 2020 before starting her current role. Holly has had her video work shown on Channel Seven, Channel Nine and SBS. A passion for WA and its vibrant arts scene has led Holly to start Magazine 6000, to provide a coverage on all things arts and culture in WA; while also offering a platform for emerging writers to grow.
